Can You beleive It's November already? Every year we have our Winter give away. Throughout the year we accumulate equipment supplies, sometimes furniture and clothes. In November we hand it out to anyone that needs the stuff we've accumulated. We love to give back to the community, we try to show that with our pricing, our workmanship, and when we give to the community. This year has been a little slower as far as accumulating things but we do have some walkers and canes. At the bottom of the page we will list our free inventory.
November Tips and Specials...
With winter coming at us like a freight train you want to make sure your Home is insulated well. One of the areas skipped by home builders is the crawl space. Heat loss through the crawl space is extremely significant. Weather stripping around doors as well as the doors threshold (bottom) should be well sealed. If you can see daylight when your doors is closed you definately need new weather stripping.
Going further with Weatherization and Energy Savings you can insulate water heaters, hot water supply pipe lines, and duct work in cool areas of your home. If your really concerned about your energy bills you can hire a private Home Energy Rating Specialist, to do a home audit. They are know to be able to save their clients an average of 32% of their current energy costs, which is not only green out of your pocket, but hurts our environment also.

Remember our LEND-A-HAND Program is still in effect. Throughout my own personal years of doing business, there has been almost nobody that didn't have something small they needed done. When I ask is there anything I can do for you before I leave? 9 times out of 10 the customer would say, "oh I'd like to move my couch, or the bulb is out in my refridgerator" or well use your imagination.
Our LEND-A-HAND program is for just that type of thing!!! You even set your own price, in other words you tell us what you want to pay! There are two ground rules, the program does not include parts and materials, and the project cannot take longer than one hour. If the job goes over 60 mins. we have to charge our minimum fee of $56.00 for the first hour and each hour after that.
Almost nobody is going to come to your home to replace an appliance bulb, but we will! If you call a contractor to fix a leaky sink, it's $75.00 to $150.00 just to get them out to your house then the cost of fixing your problem, not with us!
WE WANT TO HELP YOU! OK whats our selfish motive? We beleive that fast quarters are better than slow dollars #1, and #2 one day if you have a bigger job, there is a better chance you will think of Home Safe... Fair Enough? Then give us a call we are here for you. LEND -A-HAND is a test program and will end on December 31, 2009 unless the program is successful
But wait theres more, we're not done yet!
Don't want to mess with one small jobs because you have alot of small jobs you need done. Maybe you need somebody all the time for different projects? Our Home Maintenance program, will allow you to have us a phone call away for anything...
We charge you an annual fee spread out over 12 months and you can call use for any job you need. Besides that our base fee includes seasonal maintenance items that are completed in the spring and in the fall. You get to pick from a list of items you want done at these seasonal visits.
Then time for other projects are prepurchased in 6 hour blocks of time which is all added and spread of 12 monthly payments. With the Home Maintenance Program you get us twice a year and at any time in between for anything you need done, whether it be to move a couch or insult your crawl space or paint a room. It's like having your own personal contractor. Just remember parts and materials are not included.
